Jan Goodsell, President of InterPacific Solutions and Chairman of the Board | D2S KK
Mr. Goodsell has spent the greater part of his career building successful EDA, IP and semiconductor field operations in Japan. He has held executive and management positions at Fairchild Semiconductor, Innotech Corp., Cadence K.K. and LSI Logic K.K. In 1998, Mr. Goodsell started InterPacific Solutions, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in Japan market incubation for start-up EDA, IP and semiconductor firms. At InterPacific Solutions, he helped launch several start-ups in Japan including Sand Microelectronics and Simplex Solutions. Mr. Goodsell began working with CoWare in June, 1999 in a consulting role. In January of 2001, he became President, CoWare K.K., and in April 2008, he became Chairman, CoWare K.K.

Mr. Goodsell graduated with honors from UC Berkeley with a B.S. in EE & CS in 1976. He completed his MS in EE at Stanford in 1979. From 1977-1979 he was a Monbusho visiting scholar at Kyoto University.
Yoshio Tanaka, Vice President, Business Development - Japan | D2S
Prior to D2S, Yoshio served as Vice President, General Manager - Japan operations for Luminescent Technologies. Before that, Yoshio was Director, Manufacturing, at Synopsys Japan. Before Synopsys, Yoshio was Vice President Business Development at Numerical Technologies, Inc., which was acquired by Synopsys. He moved to Numerical from KLA-Tencor Japan, where he served as General Manager of the reticle inspection division.

Yoshio holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, from Kyoto University.
Masahiro Tateishi, President | D2S KK
Masahiro Tateishi has held senior management positions at KLA-Tencor in Japan and at PDF Solutions in the US. Masahiro also co-founded a high technology investment company, Premier Technologies, where he evaluated more than 40 technology start-ups. He has more than 20 years of experience in the development of semiconductor design technology and business development programs to proliferate the technology with customers and partners. He has worked extensively in both the US and Japan. He started his career in Japan with NKK (now JFE) and later moved to KLA-Tencor in Japan where his last assignment was business unit manager in the wafer inspection division. In 2000, Masahiro moved to the US to join PDF Solutions where he later became vice president of business development. In 2005, Masahiro returned to Japan as a co-founder and board member of Premier Technologies. Prior to joining D2S, Masahiro was president and representative director for Gardien Japan.

Masahiro Tateishi graduated from Keio University with a MA of Chemistry in 1989.
Kenji Yoshida, Ph.D, Director of the Board | D2S KK
Previously, Kenji served as the CTO of Cadence Design Systems, Japan, where he drove DFM R&D activity in Japan. Before that, he served as the Fellow and the General Manager of Design Technology at STARC (Semiconductor Academic Research Center) in Japan. Prior to serving STARC, he worked for 34 years in Toshiba, where he engaged in wide ranging CAD R&D activities, including layout verification and VLSI design systems, and has served many management positions in Semiconductor Group, including senior managers of DA Development and ASIC Engineering, and a Senior Fellow.

He also served many Academic and Industry organizations as the chairs of conferences and committees. He is a Fellow of IEICE (Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers). He is the author of numerous technical papers and several US and Japanese patents.

Kenji received his B.S., M.S., and Dr. Eng. degrees in Electronic Engineering from Kyoto University, Kyoto, Japan.
