Kazu Kawauchi, President, D2S KK

Prior to joining D2S KK as President in April 2009, Kazu Kawauchi held senior management positions at Fujitsu Microelectronics Limited in Japan and at Fujitsu Microelectronics America. He has 30 years of experience in the development of semiconductor design technology and business development programs to proliferate the technology with customers and partners. He has worked extensively in both the US and Japan. In 1995, Kazu was the senior manager of the LS CAD department for Fujitsu LSI Technology Ltd. in Japan. He moved to the US to become vice president of Fujitsu Microelectronics America in 2000. In 2002, Kazu returned to Japan as the general manager of the Technology Development Divisions Electronics Device Group, at Fujitsu Ltd. In 2005, he became the president and CEO of Fujitsu Microelectronics America.

Kazu Kawauchi graduated from Gunma University with a M.S. degreed in EE in 1978. After graduation, he joined Fujitsu Ltd. as a LSI and CAD development engineer.
