Mr. Goodsell has spent the greater part of his career building successful EDA, IP and semiconductor field operations in Japan. He has held executive and management positions at Fairchild Semiconductor, Innotech Corp., Cadence K.K. and LSI Logic K.K. In 1998, Mr. Goodsell started InterPacific Solutions, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in Japan market incubation for start-up EDA, IP and semiconductor firms. At InterPacific Solutions, he helped launch several start-ups in Japan including Sand Microelectronics and Simplex Solutions. Mr. Goodsell began working with CoWare in June, 1999 in a consulting role. In January of 2001, he became President, CoWare K.K., and in April 2008, he became Chairman, CoWare K.K.

Mr. Goodsell graduated with honors from UC Berkeley with a B.S. in EE & CS in 1976. He completed his MS in EE at Stanford in 1979. From 1977-1979 he was a Monbusho visiting scholar at Kyoto University.
