
Aki Fujimura, Chairman and CEO | D2S
Previously, Aki served as CTO at Cadence Design Systems. Aki returned to Cadence for the second time through the acquisition of Simplex Solutions where he was President/COO and inside board member. He was also an inside board member and VP at Pure Software. Simplex and Pure both IPO'd during his tenure. He was a founding member of Tangent Systems in 1984 and subsequently acquired by Cadence Design Systems in 1989.
Aki was on the board of HLDS, RTime, Bristol, and S7, all of which were successfully acquired. He currently serves on the board of Coverity, Inc.

Anthony Adamov, Ph.D, Vice President, Business Development | D2S
Anthony joined D2S with Stanford Robotics, the company he co-founded and led as CEO. Prior to that, Anthony was the General Manager and Vice President of Business Development for the Inverse Lithography Division of Luminescent Technology. Earlier in his career, Anthony worked in various engineering and management functions at Synopsys.

James Fong, Ph.D, Vice President of Operations | D2S
Before joining D2S, Inc, James was Director of Engineering with Cadence Design Systems. Before that James was the Director of Central Engineering at Simplex Solutions which was acquired by Cadence. His combined tenure at Cadence totaled over 19 years. Before Cadence, James worked at Aspec, Tangent, AMI, and GTE Laboratories, in various engineering and management roles.

Bill Lee, Vice President, Sales | D2S
Prior to D2S, Bill served as the Vice President, Business Development for the Quartz product line in the Physical Verification Business Unit at Magma Design Automation. Prior to that, Bill was also the Vice President, Sales at Brion Technologies from 2004 until the acquisition by ASML in 2006. Bill also served in various Asia Sales roles at both Numerical Technologies and Technology Modeling Associates, which both IPO'd during his tenure. Bill began his career with Samsung Semiconductor.

Ryan Pearman, Ph.D, Director of Modeling | D2S
Ryan joined D2S after spending eight years at Intel where he was responsible for fine-tuning critical production models, developing next-generation lithography modelling capabilities, and studying the effects of mask errors on the patterning process. He now turns his attention to accurate mask modelling.
Ryan holds a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Illinois, and held a postdoctoral position at Columbia University.

Masahiro Tateishi, President | D2S KK
Masahiro Tateishi has held senior management positions at KLA-Tencor in Japan and at PDF Solutions in the US. Masahiro also co-founded a high technology investment company, Premier Technologies, where he evaluated more than 40 technology start-ups. He has more than 20 years of experience in the development of semiconductor design technology and business development programs to proliferate the technology with customers and partners. He has worked extensively in both the US and Japan. He started his career in Japan with NKK (now JFE) and later moved to KLA-Tencor in Japan where his last assignment was business unit manager in the wafer inspection division. In 2000, Masahiro moved to the US to join PDF Solutions where he later became vice president of business development. In 2005, Masahiro returned to Japan as a co-founder and board member of Premier Technologies. Prior to joining D2S, Masahiro was president and representative director for Gardien Japan.

Sterling Watson, Ph.D, Vice President, Engineering | D2S
Prior to joining D2S, Sterling was Chief Technology Supply Officer of KLA-Tencor. During his 18 year career at KLA-Tencor, he held various roles including General Manager of Electron Beam Review, Vice President of Engineering for Reticle Inspection, and Director of Software and Image Computing. He delivered a number of industry leading products for Reticle Inspection and Electron Beam Review, several of which compare the design database to the actual mask or wafer patterns. Before joining KLA-Tencor, Sterling worked for ETEC Systems developing software for eBeam mask writers.
